At midday, we worked in the banana plantation, where we learned about different banana varieties, recommended spacing of 10 by 10 feet, common diseases, and how to apply manure and fertilizer to support healthy growth.
In the evening, we continued establishing our vegetable garden. We added manure to improve the soil and fenced the garden to protect the crops from animals and intruders.
It was another hands-on day of learning and putting agricultural knowledge into practice.
