Maple-Crane AgricBoost Initiative
The Maple-Crane AgricBoost Initiative is a program of Sekama Can Ltd, a Canadian organization based in Toronto. The initiative aims to enhance livestock productivity in Uganda by leveraging Canada’s expertise, innovations, and technology. It focuses on improving genetics, feeding practices, farm management, and value addition through knowledge exchange, capacity-building, and technology transfer. Additionally, the initiative introduces modern Canadian farm technologies and strengthens milk processing capabilities, benefiting farmers and the wider agricultural sector.
Goal
To improve livestock productivity, increase farmer incomes, and enhance value addition in Uganda’s dairy and livestock sector by integrating Canadian expertise, farm technologies, and innovative processing solutions.
